Abstract: This study investigated the relationship between human capital and managerial skills and project performance in Assumption Sisters Congregation of Nairobi (ASN) projects in Kenya. Using a mixed-method convergent design, data were collected from 153 respondents; 138 through questionnaires and 14 vie interviews across 14 ASN projects, achieving a 95.1% response rate. The analysis was done using SPSS version 27 and NVivo programs, and results presented through tables and charts and narratives. Findings from the study shows that, human capital development shows a positive correlation with performance (r=0.377, p<0.01), indicating that investing in human capital can enhance project outcomes. The findings show that project performance can be significantly improved through staff training, technical proficiency, education, leadership development, effective resource mobilization, systematic onboarding, and adoption of realistic budgets and strategic plans.
